Here all this time we were led to believe by those reporting on the Knicks that Kristaps Porzingis blew off his exit interview with management, specifically Phil Jackson, because he was exasperated by the dysfunction under the president’s canopy.
That’s what we were told. Informed that Porzingis ducked back in an alley to Latvia due to frustration with Jackson for his inaction in trying to control chaos, even contributing to it, that had critically escalated in Kristaps’ second pro season.
Like you, I was at a decided disadvantage when the friction between Jackson and Porzingis came to light soon after the Knicks scattered for the summer in late April.
